Nice idea with the brass tube inserted through the nipple...
I've seen another method whereby you drill multiple 'extremely small' holes in the tubing and crimp the end of the tubing shut.
This way you force the formation of smaller droplets of smoke oil which the heat from the exhaust has an easier time vaporizing....better smoke, less unburnt oil
