Well you also consider the cost of a high end gyro these days as well, it's not too, too bad... You said it perfectly though. A crash your boom, blades and something on the head and possibly canopy is gone. It will pay for itself instantly on that first save.

Even for an experienced pilot, it's nice to have IMO. Finger slips, distractions anything really. A nice feature. I"ll have to read up on it a bit more but it seems pretty neat. Thanks for that.
