Engine for P.B.F.

Throttle response is much, much more important than all out power on a PBF.

I have seen people try to fly PBFs. with an engine with poor pick up, and it just doesn't work.

Make sure you have no air leaks around the base of your carby. Take your time and get your high speed and low speed needles set right. Use a good plug. (I use only O.S. No 8 plugs.) Also use sufficient nitro for your engine. (Try around 10% to 15%.)

Also use a prop with a 4" pitch. These planes excel at high alpha flight.
