I know this iwll rais some eye brows but will an evo 26 cc work? i know im going to be getting about a 1 to 1 power ratio with well sucks but that means il just have to carry momentum into most of my manuevers and il be in the high throtal settings all the time would a set up like this work for beginner?

Well I hate to be so disparaging but, The claimed weight of the motor is 2 pounds. You still need to add the roughly 1.8 pounds of ignition, ignition battery and muffler. Now you are at 3.8 lbs in the front of the plane. The aircraft was not designed with for a motor this heavy, so the chances are high you would have to add more weight to the tail to balance it. At this point a 1:1 is about the best case. The all important wingloading is over design specs so it will start snapping on a hard pull. So you think no big deal I just won't pull hard and set up my end points accordingly. Now when you are doing any vertical maneuvers they start to suck because allot of your speed is being bled because you have to do huge pull ups with not enough power.
3d is no longer possible
You will have a huge disadvantage in anything past basic in Imac.
One windy day you will probably end up snapping when you least expect it and lack the power or control deflection to get out of it and it will snap into the ground.
