Personally, i always move the motor back from the pinion. BUT then again i don't work on my heli with a 6s battery near by.

I guarantee you, you are looking for a HUGE accident or a flame show by installing a switch. Just be like normal pilots and unplug the battery, it's safer that way.

BTW why are you transporting your heli with the battery installed ? that's not a good idea at all either..If we were talking a little heli MAYBE might be ok, but a 600 sized heli and battery NO WAY, put it in a bag or case..

If you need to do programming or something just use a spare battery to power your esc.. that's what i have always done too..

BTW deans suck, ditch them, and convert to EC5's much nicer..
