the new so called better diffs are also failing, they now recomend using grease in the diffs. some guys have soaked the gears in boiling water for 5 min and have impressive resaults, just dont soak the parts in the pot you boiled the water in, or you will melt the gears.
I personally still have the origanl gears in 2 of my trucks and have had no problems...
