You cannot use crystals designed for your airplane radio in your surface vehicle radio. Aircraft use the 72mHz band while surface vehicles (cars, trucks, boats, hovercraft, etc) use 75mHz and sometimes 27mHz. Besides the matter of specific use, the crystals just won't work.
