I'd spotted this field some time ago and thought that it would make a good field.

Property is York Region. It had been on the short list for the new "thermal transfer plant" (incinerator) but the prime site has been decided (way east of this location) and I haven't heard anything about any other development on the property.
Using the traffic circle as the parking area, the flightline is due west on a slight rise. Flightline is primarily parallel to Bales Road East. This gives 70 meters to the north, 200-plus to the west and 200-plus to the south.
Downside is the York Region Works yard on the east side of the street with a communications center. The north-south orientation reduces that problem, though an east-west runway could be added above the traffic circle. (T runway setup rather than an X or + setup.)
One tree on the property line to the north but should be to the west of the runwy.
Anyone who thinks that this is a good location and wants to run with it, you're welcome to it!
