I see some guys go with the Traxas break/throttle set up too..

I think Roger had a good point too about the actual shaft that pushes the plate, it is soft and as soon as it wears the pressure to the actual discs is effected. I am going to see about changing that for a hardened steel shaft.

the soft shaft also scores easy with dirt making a grinding compound ,goes all bad from there, I have had them seize up.I made a new one from stainless steel shaft.
