Iwata Airbrushes FTW!!!!!

I recently contacted Iwata-Medea regarding my Revolution BCR airbrush. I was finding that the siphon-feed arrangement with the big bottle hanging off the bottom was a little to bulky for my liking for detail work inside bodies.

I inquired if it would be possible to buy the parts to convert it into a BR or CR (gravity feed unit with integral cup).

To my surprise they came up with an amazing solution:

They sent me an entire Eclipse HP-CS!!!!

Turns out that they do some airbrushing courses locally. To be fair the brush they sent me is a slightly used one from the courses, but you would hardly know it.......it was clean as a whistle and in prefect working order.

Again my thanks goes out to Kristin and Iwata-Medea for their 1st rate customer support!!!

I have been using Iwata for a few years now, switched from Pasche.I use the little color cups instead of bottles.Way less bulky and less of a pain to clean out if you need to switch colors. You just have to be carefull that you dont fill them too high,no lid and you can spill them easily.

Hey Tony,

Can you shoot me a pic or link to what you are talking about?

P.S. Deserres in Mississauga (between Winston Churchill and 403 on Dundas) has an awesome selection of paints.

Thanks,

Earl

OK, I see what you are saying now. They look like gravity cups but plug into the bottom.....I wonder if the caps for gravity feed cups would fit on those......

I also like the look of those 1/4 oz jars... they look the same size as the bottles Testor's plastic model paints come in.

Thanks,

Earl
