No explanation needed.............. it's just a symbol!

If you have two of them shown on your plans then the Centre Of Gravity is between the two centres of the symbols.

Actually the symbol depicted on most model plans is a fore/aft balance recommendation, nothing to do with the real center of gravity of the plane.(Picky, picky). It would be more correct to refer to that point as the "center of balance". Tex.
