Well.... there it is

Lets see what happens and how long it takes

We have come up with a completely new reed set design; cage, reeds and etc. It has worked very well on all engines we have tested it on and one tested was a know previous problem engine. Not only does it greatly reduce any temp issue it also makes more power. we were seeing 6900 hot on a falcon 29x9 it also seems to improve throttle response and general running characteristics. First i would like to thank Joe Lewis for all of his help and everyone for being patient with us on this issue. We are mailing the prototype reeds back to fergus tomorrow where they will go into production then we will get everyone the new reeds.

Thanks.

Place that under current events. Good post Brad.
That should help shake up the evening.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Better idea is to eliminate the present Carb/Reed system with EFI. Stihl has BTDT already!

Will be interesting to see if it's an actual fix or something from Johnson&Johnson. Only time will tell and winter is upon us....

Guess we'll have to wait till late next summer to actually see the proof...

Even buying a new one off the shelf, best wait for new stock.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

So I was in the basement doing inventory, and thought I should do a purge.
A question dawned on me, Dale since Ur a bit of a hoarder , what is your engine count?

Edit. GP engine has me on the fence, I'd like an upgrade to my 100l , so new stock is must , but seriously I'm price Perplexed. It ain't that much cheaper........but seems friendlier then my da120

Edit #2. Is this isolated to the 123 or includes the 176. I hate being a tester, unless that's what I'm paid for
