Anyone know if this much voltage will damage recievers or servos? It likely is mostly surface charge but I want to be sure.

The proper check is under load. If you don't want to risk the radio system, check it with an LED or two connected.

Some of the very newest servos are rated to work with the 7V + of 2S LiPos, but check the specs of EVERY piece of equipment that will be exposed to the system. Not sure of peak specs for receivers. In most cases all the servo connectors have the + and - terminals ganged internally and there will be a regulator tied in to feed the radio circuitry. How durable? That is perhaps the question. From what I've read and suffered personally, the Futaba 149DP does not tolerate voltage spikes. With higher voltages those spikes can be more severe.
