We don't need speed. We want the low pitch for the pullup manouvers.

A finer pitch gives better climb rate but you loose on top end speed.

That's why I like the Falcon 24x8 over the 24x9 on my 3W55CS in the Carden9 Extra 300!

Jack, that is all it took to solidify my commitment to the Hanger 9 35% Extra that has been in the Garage 12 months. Never been out of the box fully. The wing box has yet to be opened. But it did make it deep in the dungeon upon arriving. I beleive this could be a real replacement for my 40 flight Aeroworks Extra, resting in Aeroworks heaven.

Walbro works great on it.

Ken, I figured you moved back into the logging truck for the winter.
