Futaba 9 Cap PCM

I just bought a new Futaba 9 Cap PCM and I want to know how do I change my transmetter frequence? Does someone can help me??

You would purchase a new module (or trade at your LHS) with the new frequency in it as it would be properly tuned. Safest route anyway, especially with a new radio, IMO.

Hi Pat,

I have the same radio - Check the top of page 8 of your manual. Bob is correct, the ONLY way to change the frequency is to buy a new module, or trade yours in at your LHS (if they go for that). A new module is ~ $70 Cdn. All the electronics that affect the frequency control of the radio are built in to the module, thus by switching that, you're guaranteed that everything is perfectly tuned for the new frequency.

Remember that receivers are tuned for their specific band range (Low Band = Ch 11-35 & High band = Ch 36-60), so if you plan on keeping the 9CAP receiver and just changing the crystal, remember to stay in the same range - Either low or high...
