No, not necessarily Max...you could go with either. The 1300 25C battery means that it has a capacity of 1300 mah (miliamp hours) and a discharge rate of 25C.

Are you new to RC flight or just new to electrics...please don't take this wrong but if you are new to both, that plane looks like it might be a bit of a handfull.

Re: Motors

Kv means how many thousands of rpm you get per volt. It is a measure of how fast the motor will turn when unloaded based on how many volts the battery supplies. The load is determined by the prop.

The recommended motor Gold Spin Max 2212-6 2200kv is meant to turn a small diameter prop really fast on a 3s lipo. They recommend an APC 6/4 prop and the motors max current is 28 amps so to be safe you might want to go with a 40 amp ESC. Either battery they sell is capable of delivering over 30 amps so the choice is yours (the 1800 will give you longer flight times).

I'm going to have to agree, this is NOT a good beginner plane, not even a good second plane.

Pushers, while faster, do not send propwash over the control surfaces the way a regular prop does, reducing control authority at lower speeds. You will need to fly this model fast in order to maintain control, but that will make it very touchy and responsive to control inputs.

The small size of this model will compound the touchiness of the controls as well as reducing the practical range at which you can see the plane and its orientation. A plane will get small VERY quickly at 75mph.

Choose something with a nice long wingspan and a decent chord (wing width) that will slow you down and give lots of lift and control at slower speeds where you can safely track and orient the plane

Well I Started with a skyfly and its to slow for me... and plus I already did 10h of flight simulator with the areocat, and I flew couple different plane models...
