We have 2000 members that should provide proxies for the Annual Zone Meeting. These should be provided to a trustworthy representative that will seek the involvement of MAAC to assist and not to hinder and threaten members of the organization.

Your votes are important and needed to ensure you and your fellow modellers are able to continue to fly.

Each club should have a representative at the AZM, each representative should have signed proxies and be heard.

I count over 40 clubs in this zone and I challenge each and every one of them to send a representative to the AZM with at least 25 proxie vote forms

There are huge issues that need to be resolved that will never be resolved without your vote, anything less than 50% does not cut it.

BE SURE YOUR CLUB IS INVOLVED, tell someone that can get involved on behalf of your club or better yet get involved yourself.

Hey Karl, you deserve to have my proxy in your pile of proxy votes.

PM me your address and I will snail mail you mine and any others I gather (one and only original copy of course). I hope others will follow doing the same in giving you there vote. If I am available I will come regardless of where my vote comes from.

Speaking of which, aren't the issues to be voted on supposed to be listed so that the people signing the proxy can direct HOW they want their vote to go?

Is that posted somewhere online/in the MAAC magazine already or has that yet to be done?

There are many issues I would think and if the 2000 members it is likely less than 50 show up.
Those that are unable to attend should give proxy to someone they feel is capable of taking care of their best interest AND the interests of their peers.

I wish I knew all that shall be on the table that day for my zone and invite anyone that can answer the question posed by Max regarding where thongs are posted to please speak up.

I would like to propose a challenge to all Zone L club executives to collect proxies from their members and send a representative from each club to the AZM with the proxies. I will be there with a half dozen KMAC members to represent our club. Show your support and sign up on this thread if you are going to represent your club.

This would be part of the upcoming AZM's. Approved (by the members) the AZM Recommendations and Resolutions are gathered and then printed etc to be discussed and voted on at the next AGM in 2013 in Saskatchewan!

Proxy forms simply say that they allow your representative to vote on all matters on your behalf.

My understanding is that the AZM is in Midland on Oct 6. Karl can you please clarify including the source.

I just checked on the MAAC website and it does not have a date for zone L AZM. I would plan to attend on behalf of Humber Valley R/C Flyers but cannot commit until sure about the date. I am sure it will be officially announced soon.

It's listed in the calendar of events in the latest issue of the MAAC magaine.
