Way to go Chuckster! Sounds beautiful! I'll bet it will go like a bat out of hell if you really want it to.

Do you have the vertical tail stabilizers straight in line or are they angled slightly? One of our club members who seems to be the local expert on multis was telling me he puts 3 degrees of out thrust on the engines, and two degrees of in on the vertical stabs to make it self correcting if one engine conks out.

i think i put them straight.. and i dont think i have any out thrust on the engines... if there is, it's cause i screwed them in crooked.. i build my spads with TLAR (that looks about right) lol... i did have an engine conk out ... did it mattter??? nope... flew around like it was meant to... even had to abort a landing... to my surprise, it just picked up speed and kept going... i must be really lucky.. i read many threads on how u must kill the second engine and hope you can glide it back in... bahhh.. i dont need too..

the 40 las dont have much speed.. lots of power tho... i did build it with the option of swapping the 40s for my 2 gms .47s... now that would rock
i might just do that

That might just go into orbit! I expect you are getting a lot of added longitudinal stabilitry from the sides of the twin fusilages. That would possibly account for the "riding on rails" tracking. You definately have a winner design there!
