Hey. I'm looking at buying a Skymaster F-86 when they come out for my first turbine. I've been told by a number of people that a F-86 is an excellent entry level jet. But what I'm curious about is how accurate is the F-86 in G3? I can fly the hell outta that thing and I'm wondering how close to the real thing it is. I know from flying other aircraft in the sim that they are close but the landing seem a little off. What's the word?

I haven't tried it on G3, but on g2, I make it bigger and heavier, and tamed down the control throws a bit. It's pretty close to the BVM one...

I guess your about the closest person on the planet to me with turbine experiance now eh. I'll be pickin your brain when I get this bird for sure..

I flew the F86 on the G2 and it is pretty good.
The key to a turbine trainer is a light weight and simplicity. If you can build a light F86 it will be very straight forward to fly.

If you have been flying ducted fans then you are for sure ready for it.
