Do they bounce as well as Hitec? I have had some fairly good luck bouning Hitec servo's.

On a serious note. Do many use the S-Bus programing?
I use nearly the same torque/speed specs with Savox.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Brad, I have very little exposure to Futaba equipment. It is great stuff. But I decided many years ago that I was going to make myself happy with J.R. So climbed the J.R ladder to the point I'm at. Comfortable I might add too.
Often when asked what I would recomment for a fellow modeller to upgrade to. I simply reply Futaba, or Hitec. Keeps the programing questions down in my life.

I only fly futaba cuz that's what I started with. There are so many other good brands out there. I never hear anything bad about JR and Futaba. Likely the top radio companies out there right now. But some tight competition coming up there butts lately though

Thank-you Trevor.
At my age I have only so much disposable time left.

Brent, that is a good topic. I'm home today, so let's start this.
Last year I had a twin ignition fail. I imagine like you, not sure why. It was an Evolution 116. I also have a suspect ignition on a DLE30 from the year before. As I mounted it to run before finding a new ride for it. (No, I sold the airframe). Run it up, and found it not very reliable. Changed the ignition to a DLE55 one I had in my stach. It cured all running starting issues. Turned into a real charm. Again not sure why that one failed. Both of these ignitions were operated on the load side of an ignition voltage regulato, set at 5.2V.

Hope we get some good input today.
