i was out the yard today to start up a new evo90 i have recently purchased did all systems check and finally fired it up. noticed a bit of flame coming out the back a little more than normal but not a hot start. after motor did its calibration run ran perfect increased the throttle to full power for a few moments and noticed the tailcone of turbine get red hot . my question is this i have never seen any of my other turbines get red hot like this but this is the smallest turbine i have maybe the165000 rpms as oposed to the lower rpms of the bigger motors or is this turbine getting to much fuel any help would be great thanks sal

Re: question

Hi Sal - your Italian buddy from the US here. The tail cones actually get quite red. Was it fairly dark outside when you did this? In the daylight they do not usually look red, but start one up in the dark and it really glows red.

Sal, stop worrying, the turbine is fine. Just get out and fly it! You can do it!
