Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Scott, if you are interested in a GP-176. Keep an eye on Trevor, the King of Hype.
By spring there will be a new "Lust" in his eye (Hype). Making Dan-O's old 176 available.

Now if I were to speculate what might replace Trev's 176, say an MVVS-175. Only speculation. Can't rule out the new 4 cylinders, etc. that may come over the winter.

LOL!! Sorry Dale - the 176evo will stay here. Would have strongly considered the MVVS152 EFI or MVVS175 EFI had the price not have been crazy!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Good morning guys New topic of the day
Question. How many of you guys would buy a gp 246?
It will have a crank almost identical to 3W 220.
it should be around 26 hp and will be light weight for the class
Not sure about price but about 2750 Canadian

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Lorne... been waiting on news for that for a while now. I have just the airframe for the 246 quad It would go on the large smoothpipes like the MVVS190 was.

Any news on availability? Tell Fergie I'll take one but only if it's #001

Can't even imagine the power.

But!

What will be the best engine for this beast!????

Currently somewhere on the North Atlantic, there is a new Vertigo kit inbound. It will be my largest build to date, and the construction is a bit different according to our North American standards, and I think will be a ton of fun in building and flying.

It has some features that I just LOVE!!! Czech it out!!!

This is made by Dan, and his company Badan Aircraft.
