Alright... savage is acting up again ... it started yesterday i was running it in the grass yesterday like i have done may times. but this time it sounded like it was bogging and wasn't moving at half the speed it should have ( grass was just cut and not high) so i took it to the road to see if it would pick up speed... it didn't really pick up speed nor did it shift in to 2nd or 3rd... the spur gears are fine and have the right tensions on them. what could be the problem? anyone have any ideas? Thanks

check the head bolts and make sure they are tight, also try changing your fuel lines, you might be sucking in air somewhere, mine did the same thing and it turned out to be that the head bolts where lose

savage

look down into your cooling head from the top and you should see the bots there. I aint being a smart ass, but you did try a new plug right? Just because a plug glows doesnt mean its good. Somtimes not all the coils light up. This could cause the problem your describing, Check your back plate as well make sure its not loose

when the engine is warm it runs fine and makes all the good sounds that it always has but it seems like something is not engaging. i don't think it's the fuel lines.. cause if it was it wouldn't run right ( engine wise )

I feel like a nub suggesting this, but is there any chance its not tuned properly?

You said it sounded like it was "bogging" and not as fast as it 'should have'.

Last time it was running well was the weather much different? I had to retune my 25 sometimes after temp changes.
