If you are interested in making a replacement canopy, it isn't that hard, I posted a method in this forum a couple of years ago. https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/show...ghlight=Canopy Is the link to it, or, you can search for "Making a replace canopy" and it should bring it up.

Instead of using fiberglass, you could also use bondo auto body filler. Just apply the filler in thin layers, not a big blob as it generates a lot of heat when it's really thick, it'll distort your canopy which isn't helpful.

Once you have your mould made, you can vaccuform a replacement and it'll look factory fresh.

I'm presently helping out a chap who dropped his 1/6 scale access hatch which contained the cockpit area. The canopy was badly damaged, but was all there. Taped it back together with masking tape.

Re: Canopy Replacement

just pop it out and glue it ,it's a great place for a bit of decal material, make a matching piece of decal for the other side so both sides look the same . It does not appear to be cracked in the clear part of the canopy so you won't even be able to tell.
