Howdy all,

I've been wonder around quite a while and register today, been flying those interesting airhawk for a little while. I want to get a samll three channels that can fly inside a soccer field but still can handle mile winds. Anyone can give me some insight?

Thanks

Edmond

Re: Small three channel plane

Welcome Edmund, to one of the best forums on the net to date.

The small Parkzone foamies are readily available and mildly entertaining. Seems to me, the ParkZone Piper Cub is fairly easy to put together and fly, and comes with everything needed to start. It makes a reasonable trainer. I have one, just for fun.

I'm thinking your probably fairly young and new to the R/C hobby. Have you ever built an airplane?

Re: Small three channel plane

Sorry for my presumptions. I'm like that.

The PZ Cub is actually a fairly stable, high wing 3-channel flyer with a 280 size electric. As I said before, its only mildly entertaining. I tried to find the lippo and radio in that massive amount of junk I have in my workshop, but, was unsuccessful. I wanted to give you a complete update on the battery and equipment. It will take me a little while to rummage around and collect it all together. I'll have to get back to you with the specifics.

Re: Small three channel plane

Welcome aboard

go with the Parkzone Ember - get the Bind and fly version and a Spektrum 6 channel radio
you'll have a neat flyer, very stable and easy to start with, then have some electronics that can easily convert into a stick & tissue type

see the pics, each of these uses ember (or Sukhoi) parts
