with the slots running side to side, it will allow what ever air is under the body, to flow through the slots, and it will cool the aluminunm off better, I dont know how much air would flow under the body thgouh, with the slots running up and down, you probally have more total surface area, so you would get more cooling from that, but any air flowing over them wont cool them off as much,

I personally would get the AE one, for the simple reason its probally alot better quality, and will probalyl fit better, it doens't really matter which way the slots run for the size of them, I dont think they are going to be very different,

More fins = more heat loss

I am not an expert, but in my opinion the one with more fins (Associated) would be more efficient in cooling the motor.

more fins doens't necesarily mean less heat, it depends on the size and depth of the fins, its all how much surface area there is, thats the point of adding fins is to add surface area,

i would have to agree with the first guy the gh one would work a lil nicer because or how the air flows it s not going to run up and don.i would go with the gh one.
