Building nitroplanes 40 size challenger, uses 2 micro sized servoes for the 4 ailerons. What servo would be acceptable? somewhat economical too, I can't justify spending $90 a servo. i use futaba gear.

I would go the Hitec HS 85 metal gear. I have had great luck with them and have tortured a them. I have never had the gears strip in an HS 85 MG servo. I have stripped a few HS 81 plastic gears though.

Would a hitec 225 mg fit. They are a very tough servo. I have started useing them in many of my smaller planes with great results. they are larger than a micro, but much smaller than a standard case size. They are metal gear, or the 225 bb is nylon gear, dual ball bearing

I agree the 225MG is an awesome servo. The 85MG's are lighter though and should have plenty of torque for Nitro Pitts Challenger ailerons.
