if its a wind up charger with timer it is not a peak charger...
the maximum charge rate you should use is about 4 or 5 amps. if you have that adjustment. most non adjustable peak chargers charge at 3 or 4 amps. charging at higher amp rates will charge faster but at the expense of battery life. Do yourself a favour and if you don't have a peak charger go and buy one. after you fry a couple of packs with a wind up charger it pays for the peak charger. The peak charger charges until it detects the highest voltage and then when it peaks (or begins to drop) it shuts off. Timed chargers either dont fully charge if you dont give them enough time or they over charge if you give them too much. |

cheap ones CAN be trouble just watch... myself personally i use an MRC 969 Pro... ppl give it a bad rap but i have NEVER had problems with it... the duratrax ice is another good one i have heard.....
