I know there are a few guys on here with large scale cars, let start discussing them and share a few tips, pics etc.I'm down to one Baja at the moment and its on the bench waiting for a overhaul to get her ready for summer.Looking to drop in a bigger motor and upgrade the steering servo, shocks and wheels as soon as I get the xmas bills out the way.

I'm in the process of building my baja ss. I'm taking it slow, like 1 page of the manual a week! There's no rush since I doubt i'll be running it until spring.

Well, my de-anodizing and polishing project is almost done. But lately I have not been to motivated to finish it off and putting it back together agian and for my punishment... we get this great mild weather and I could be running the Baja right now but instead it's in pieces

Once I have it all back together I'll take some pics. The only upgrade I've done is a 27cc motor or is it a 26cc... I can't really remember as I took off the sticker. I know, I'll look for my reciept from DDM. As well as the HPI tuned pipe.

The next thing to get is either or both... Rear Paddle tire for when I go to the beach and a new set of rear Pro-Line Badland for the Baja.

Now the other decision to make is do I go gas or Coleman fuel for this season... not sure just yet.

I think what The Roc was getting at was whether to run Coleman (camping fuel) or pump gasoline in the Baja.

Pros and cons - Smells less, might need to tweak the carb...maybe some others might have a few other opinions on this one?

Long story short is you CAN run coleman fuel, aka lantern fuel, aka coleman stove fuel instead of unleaded gas through these engines.

Although I have not tried it yet, some claim better throttle repsonse, abit more power and burns cleaner with a more plesant exhaust smell.

I've ran regular gas with a 32-40 mix using Redline racing oil (found at CTC) for over 3 years with no problems. Also the same sparkplug!
