Good-Day Guys

Well the work for 2016 is over so we go straight into next years work on the new jet rally.
The Carp Airport management has already said we are very welcomed back in 2017

So for those who didn't manage to attend the first annual OVJ jet rally hosted by the
Carp Airport - I've put together a short video that shows off the airport from the view of
my Stinger 90 - The main thing the pilots all notice was it was 100ft wide and was supper
flat and smooth - Runway runs East/West

Hey you big fellow whats you problem...if you have something to say call me..
you started ...I will said what a think ...why not postpone the event Sunday ..for you its no problem because you only fly you crapy boring foamy jet...
But some of us why like, believe or not , flying our expensive jets and not get smash by the cross 45Km gusty wind..Sunday was a better day for us

I Totally agree with Peter! It is to far to drive for one day.
Just think of the money it brings locally when people stay over night, Dining Etc..

I agree too, but the problem isn't easy to fix. The airport manager (in my opinion) would really like to make it a 2 or even 3 day event IF warranted. That would require him convincing all those who rent hangar space & want to fly during OUR event that they need to look at the big picture which raises awareness & funds for local charities through the spectator admission charge. We as a group of enthusiasts need to show up & entertain those spectators, keep the place clean, use the food vendors & put on a show worthy enough to show the regular airport users their sacrifice wasn't pointless & inconvenient to them. The airport manager is running a business with clients who pay to use it's facilities, and just like any consumer they expect to get what they pay for. We're asking them (the clients) to find something else to do while we play in their sandbox while keeping them out of it.
