LOL!! Bang on Dave... just keep runing those (3) 7S-NiCad packs and I'm sure everyone will soon see the light and go back to them

I'm wondering... would (3) NiCad packs be any lighter than the weight penalty of a 3W or MVVS??

What the Hell is wrong with the "1960's"

I suppose you were born in the 70's Trevor (?).

You use a 3S Lipo for power in and then you can set each bank of ports to a different voltage. Also has a soft switch. A pretty good price, compact size and light and great current abilities. Best of all, regardless of the state of you battery, the power output is always the same to your servos.

My favorite feature is being able to set 1 bank of ports at say 6V or 6.6V and the other at 8.4V so you can mix and match HV and non-HV servos as required.

Most of this can be found in the SmartFly and Powerbox systems, but this ReactorHVX is a good price and much more compact and in a nice AL case.

Thanks guys for the info..appreciate it!

Trevor, I had forgot about those. I remember them from 2 or 3 years back. Will definitely get me some.

Which charger are you using? I have a Revolectrix powerlab 8.....it seems to be very good....or at least for my level of hype...
