I need to make a few small fiberglass parts. Anyone using the PC epoxies for anythjng? If so which one?

I use the real resin for fiberglassing. It's cheap too, it was only like $20 for the litre and it works AMAZING.

The place is called Rayplex and he caters to even the small guy, he's in Oshawa.

He has EVERYTHING!!..I've got my fiberglass cloth from him and even some carbon fiber cloth for fixing any of the goblin carbon bodies/tails!!

The litre will last me forever since I only need it for repairs for the most part.

Will be ordering the Rayplex epoxy and hardener, and microballoons!you're right though they carry everything. Awesome

Ya my neighbor found them last year when we fiberglassed his boat floor, we used crappytire waxed resin on the rear transom and then found this place a few days later and WOW what a difference!

Another buddy from the flying field who was using crappytire fiberglass cloth with just 30min epoxy on his goblin canopies and tails seen how a canopy of mine turned out that I fixed and said it came out wayyy better and said thats what he was using next time as well!

what I did was since the can of resin comes with a mixing ratio formula of 100ml of resin..I took the formula and recalculated it for smaller doses like 10ml and such...then go to the local pharmacy and get some syringes, I think I was using 50ml and 1ml syringes, I'll double check that.

Here's some shots of the couple canopies I fixed and how it turned out...First 5 pics are an align 500L that the grommet was breaking out of an had minor other cracking...got some nailpolish that looked close enough and presto! lol...Last 2 pics are of a gobby 380 canopy that I learned my lesson real quick about never sitting any canopies on the chair in your work area AS YOU MAY JUST SIT ON ONE!!!!!

it was actually 10ml and 1ml syringes I was using, the 1ml ones are nice cuz it gives you 0.02ml increments

Here's the new ratios I came up with, the higher the percentage, the faster you need to work with it!

Ya the guy knows his stuff, there's even some videos on that website of him and you can use that to find his youtube channel.

Not sure what shipping is like as I've never had to since I'm lucky enough to only be a 30min drive to them and am in that area often anyways

what are microballoons for?
