Yup, For this year there will be two more jet Demo days the airport would like to see with their full scale fly-in breakfasts, one on July 20th and the other Aug 17th (I believe). the first one went really well and drew in the largest audience they have had at a full scale fly-in.

Re: pulled the trigger..

Well, I guess I am the proud owner of a Pheonix and Behotec kero start turbine!

Met Peter at his place today and picked her up... even did a few starts in the driveway for me. Even my wife Lesley was impressed!

Now I am sitting in Toronto, waiting to take her home after my holiday is done at the end of the week...

Once I get my reciever in and the radio set up I hope to test fly sometime in August (after the IMAC nats business is over)

Yeah! Another jet for Andrew!!

Re: pulled the trigger..

Andrew, not sure if you schedule allows it, but be sure to drop by the Vaughn MIlls Mall and check out Big Bass Pro Shop -- the wall of fish has to be seen to be believed!

You're also not far away from the new location for A&J Hobbies. Watch out as there is a Wimpy's in the same strip mall -- right on the corner. While you're in there, your wife can be hanging out in what I call the "mothership" -- Jones New York factory outlet store.

My wife laughs at that turn of a phrase but she works around the corner from JNN, and drops in occassionally and walks out with piles of clothing at 75%off of retail.

I once dragged myself along (wanted to go to the Factory Direct electronics outlet that's down the street from JNN) and looked around -- I pointed out a skirt that looked nice -- until we booth looked at the sticker -- $1600 and that was the outlet price.....

And we thought that models were expensive!!!!

Hope that your vacation is going well.

I'm soon to be off to Wasaga Beach and hang out on Beach 6 for a while. If the g'kids want to go down to the strip, they can walk 'cause I ain't driving them!

....trying not to cook myself this year..... I'm a lousy BBQ'er -- either raw or burned.... same for suntans.
