Second Maiden
Well with any luck I will get out to the club monday morning and we will Re maiden my H9 Funtana 90S .When I acquired it from Colyn it had a saito 125 in it and was a fun plane to fly. This winter I decided to convert a couple of planes to Electric this was one of them. I have a 270KV motor with a 6s battery which going by my Watts up meter has all kinds of power. Monday will tell

Re: Second Maiden
A second chance to be a maiden...??? I'll have to think about that one
As to Monday... If the weather doesn't improve, you'll have to postpone the 'Remaiden' flight. Current prediction for Ontario weather shows below 10C temperatures and winds up to 30 Kms/hr. Not a good scenario for a maiden flight. But there is always another day... Good Luck!

Re: Second Maiden
Well the remaiden /second chance or whatever you wish to call it went well. The first flight was on a battery that had been charged a little while ago and was slightly down on amps/ watts/voltage.The plane flew well just a little sluggish. Had put the second pack on to charge while we flew with the first ,mind you takes a little longer to charge a battery than I could fly. The plane had three successfull flights then pilot error kicked in,I was passing the radio off to my buddy and some how he managed to hit the lock button at the bottom of my radio. He had no throttle control.Only thing was we didn't know he had hit it just the beep.. Well no motor plane come down ,and cause of our fields local it didn't make it to the runway. I have had it apart and assess it at about an hour repair and she will fly again. God I love this hobby.
Oh a few remarks, this plane with its current motor and battery is a very nice sport flyer,it will just hang a hover,it also flys so much smoother than with glow. Make it 3d just add two more cells making it an 8 s pack.
