Yep she is looking shapr as it is, you are doing good job on it. What are the specs of the model and will you be using 2 x 46's or 4 strokes?.

What color scheme do you have in mind...I hope One of Canadian bare metal ones ...

B25

Yes i have to admit it does look sharp.2-46 size engines would be plenty for Sammy if he want just to taxi it around.Look on the bright side he wouldn't have to repair it every time he goes out to the field

NO a pair of 46's would not even taxy this beast around.
It is 101 inches wing span and will use two freshly converted 31cc ryobi's with 18-8 triple props.
I have just finished with the main part of the fuse to the wing, I thaught i'd put on the wheels to see how she sits. I am very happy with the way it is going so far.
The airframe is completelly scratch build using Nick Zirolli plans. a lot of cutting... tracing and cutting...
I hope there is a pair of cowls and canopies under the x-mas three this year for it.
I think i have been good this year and left enough clues and printouts of the parts required along with the web adress to give anyone a clue what i would like under the three this year!

Cheers

Jesse

Hey without knowing any specs of the model one could only assume what could be the power for it, like you said its being built from Nick Ziroli's plans then off coure its capable of gasser then glow engines, yes any medium size gasser will fly it.

A Pair of DA 50Rs would really make that ship perform.

I noticed from the pics we can see the bare aluminium wing tubes. Do they not spec at least a crdbourd or phenolic sleave to be mounted in the wing structure? The way you have it each rib will have to take an undistributed load. With the phenolic or cardboard tube for the al wing tube to slide into the load will be distributed more evenly. JAT.

Looks like quality work so far.. love all those stringers.
