The League of Silent Flight has just announced a proposal for a parallel soaring achievement program for electric sailplanes. Details can be found here:

Note that a vote by active LSF members will occur via email ballot in December. Make sure we have your current email address or you won't receive a ballot.

This is excellent news and heralds an exciting new chapter in the LSF!

Hi Anne; I was an active LSF member about 30 years ago. (#$@%& I'n getting old).

I would be willing to rejoin to help this important advancement go through...if that is possible. I'm sure there are a few other electric glider/Altitude limited flyers who might just do the same. This a change we have been waiting for and may well help revive the LSF.
