i came across one of these in a bit of a sale. it got electrified. 7 cell a123 dewalt, all up 6.5 lbs.eagle tree logger says 45 mph for 9 minute flights just enough to land it after the 9 min.
this rivals a 60 glow for power and flight time full throttle climb will shorten the run but have done 6 minutes wide open. the motor is a hong kong turnigy,50 55 400kv. its been in about 5 different planes been wacked into the dirt hard tiwce for sure. magnets come loose and reglued. probably in the 25 hrs of flight time range on motor and still runs excellent. also 6 hxt 7 buck 160 oz servos used . hobby city has changed the face of things a lot. the gear in the plane is a combo of stuff mine and em drys. a123 provides a lot of winter fun. also have a ucan do 60, free bee we have combined efforts on 5 cells six minute flights
