Pink color scheme - Help!?

Hi,

Yes, yes, I did say "pink". Having a baby girl around the house has softened the boys and I. Pink isn't that bad .... really .... it isn't

So, here I am looking ahead a my Hog Bipe project. It seems fitting that a "Hog" should be pink. The main base colour of the plane will be pink. I am looking for ideas on schemes and particularly for opinions of what contrasting colours go well with pink.

What colours go well with pink? I've had one suggestion for Black. I think that would be pretty good. What else?

Have you seen any eye popping colour schemes with pink? Pictures or web links would be great thanks.

yes, black will go well. in fact, many many bathrooms in the 50's were black and pink tiles.

also consider grey.

came across this for clothes considerations. should work ok here as well:

Women with pale, ivory complexions should steer clear of petal and pearl pinks and opt instead for deeper shades, such as rose or fuchsia. Darker skin tones have more of a choice when it comes to pink. Olive and mahogany skin tones can pull off pretty much any shade of pink, from the palest to the darkest hue.

I've put an Extra together with metallic plum and pink. I think the combo worked well. See my gallery if you're interested.

Unfortunately, that plane met with an unhappy demise following a deadstick.

Circus pink or Neon pink can also make a difference

Thanks for the link Jim. I am thinking more Pink and less white.

Hmmm. Pink base with black and green trim may look pretty good. Maybe with a splash of white trim in there too somewhere.

I will be sure to post a picture of the finished product. But still have lots of time left.

Keep the ideas coming.

Pink with purple and yellow stripes or green and white or any of these colors will really bring out the pink. Have fun.

All you have to do is have a few too many wobbly pops and you'll see all the pinks and greens that you could ever want (or not want).
