First time indoor flying......

Well, what an evening :P
Flew indoors for the first time ever and all I can say is, I have a new appreciation for those guys that are doing all that crazy 3D stuff in small buildings!
Anyway, I was flying a nice new 3Dfoamy Mini Katana, first time up there were only 2 lights on in the building and it was hard to see, I lost orientation as it came out of a hover and pulled when I should have pushed, my fault So, we glued it back together and off I went again. Well, I was flying for a good 30 minutes I'm sure, with 1, 2, then 3 more airplanes in the air and an RC car scooting around our feet. Nothing bad happened. The other 3 planes landed, and then it happened, Another guy took off with a borrowed airplane and not 15 seconds into the flight.......
BAMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nose to nose midair.............
It was a great shower of depron and carbon fiber LOL. So, after assessing the damage I figured it would take longer to fix my Katana than build a new one. What a blast, now to get a new one done in time for the 7th, the next outing, or, is that inning?

i jus tryed indoor last week for the first time with my eflite byp yak. What a blast. The 18 foot ceiling part is a little intimedating but by then end of the night i had it going pretty smooth. Until my battery got low and i bailed right into the stage the byp was already on its way out buit that sure finished it off. I stomped it out on the spot. Now i got my 3d batix diablo rtf and just test flew it in the backyard. Good to go for another week
