had my sweaty mits all over this truggy in chicago last week (that's where the pictures were taken)... it same as the losi 8 except for different gear ratio diffs (just like the mbx5t/mbx5r)... longer chassis, shock towers, arms and cvd's... if you have a losi 8, you'll be able to share a majority of the parts with the truggy including the shocks (just like the mbx5t/mbx5r)... the drake was there too and said he loved and has already raced it... naturally

Is there an advantage to using the huge rear inner wheel bearings? You can see them in the last pic in the rear hub carrier. I know they do that on the Matrix too

it captures the pin in the CVD, so its virtually impossible for it to come out, also the bigger bearings tend to not wear out as fast,

i think selling the truck as a race roller is a bad idea, with how close all the trucks are on the market performance wise, you can make any of them work well with the right set up, where if you buy a mugen or a CEN, you can use the money you save by building the kit your self, on getting a set of tires, and a gallon of fuel, or a good steering servo, but you look at the US price of the 8ight T, and compare it to the projected US price of the CEN Factory race edition truck, and its almost $200US less, thats alot of cash,

I see why they did it, because the basher market is so much bigger than the racer market, but i really can't see a race bred truggy really being big in the basher market, and to me they would rather just buy a full RTR, a race roller is still going to take an hour or two to install the engine and radio and everything, so to me a new person is more likely to pick a full RTR over this one, a new person is not very likely to care if the truck is a losi, or a jammin, or what ever, they want everything in on box, ready to go with as little work as possible, and for as cheap as possible,

this truck just seems to be caught between markets, which i think is going to hurt it persoanlly, obviosuly they are going to sell, the die hard losi guys will buy it no matter how it comes, but I know persoanlly, I'd rather save the extra cash and get a Mugen or CEN, and build it myself, to my specs, any of them will work good, and really it will be less time for me if i can get a kit, since i wont have to tear it all down and rebuild it all, I'll only have to build it from the start,

rant over

i agree with your rant

i like CEN's new products

in fact i plan on purchasing their truggy..looks awesome

that said

CEN isnt even in the same stratosphere as LOSI........yet.......hence the price difference........

The Losi roller is within Kyosho's and Mugens price range....

dont take this as a knock on CEN as i believe they are on the rise...BIG TIME......

LOSI has the titles
