Just got back from flying today. I got real lucky this weekend!! Got a flight on the Roo yeasterday and another today! The TJT 3000 was rockin' both days!
Was a lot nicer today even though there was a strong cross wind.
Anyone else still flying even though it's almost December!! I can't believe how nice it still is outside although it's just a matter of time before the snow flies!

I wish I could be doing that, snow has flown a couple weeks ago, yesterday the high was -27, today was like a heatwave at -6. It truly is building season now, but, that's ok, the Spectre is coming along great, and Dean should have his kingcat here in a couple weeks for paint

I went out to our field and what a beautiful perfect day for flying! I only wish I had my AV8R ready to go.

I've got the parts all laid out and am just getting ready to start the building. Not sure what colours to do it in yet! Been doing some research on jets but most military types are just gray with maybe a bit of colour markings exceipt for some of the well known airshow types: eg Blue Angles, Snowbirds, but a lot of people are using those colours and I would perhaps like something different. Any suggestions!

Come Spring I too will enjoy the smell of kero from my own jet!

Now that is stunning!!

Airpac will have the F18 ARF available soon - just the right size for that TJT 3000 !! I think that scheme would be awesome.

Myzee, I saw this actual plane at the Brantford airshow just a couple of months ago. I was doing security almost right in front of it. Took a couple of pics but didn't get too much of the detail. It really is a stunning scheme for sure. Thanks for the pic.

Heres one I took:

F-18

You have to admit that us Canucks sure know how to paint up an F-18 eh?!
Nice pic Gary, I think your winter project would look so cool done up like that.!
I had sent that pic to Jet-Mart as a hint for a scheme on the F-18 they are working on. Not sure as to a release date on that but I believe he was going to paint the first plane in those colours. It sure is sweeeeeet!
That Airpac ARF looks like a real winner as well!
Looks like I'll have to start hiding some dollars away for the F-18 fund!LOL!

Flying in November

G'day guys from 'Down Under'
Myles cant imagine whats up with the weather to stop you from flying....in November? I just spent the weekend flying jets with about 200 Aussie jet flyers at Wangaratta Jets 2003, held in sunny (hot) Victoria (Australia) temps ranged drop from a balmy daytime temp of 33c to night time temps of a brisk 18c... 'Almost' had to change from shorts to jeans on a few times there-
Lots of cool Aussie jet pics and videos from 'Wangaatta' for 'show and tell' when I get back home to Belleville very soon. I will post pics here for you jet guys already suffering the winter blues...
I will also be visiting TJT's new and much larger factory in Perth later this week and checking out all the latest developments for 04 from TJT before flying back to Canada.

Myles- Great to hear you had the oppertunity to get some flights on the Roo/3000 combo before the snow arrives....Talk soon mate!

Cheers- Marty

Aussie life

Just had to rub it in didn't ya!!!!
The nice weather we had here on the weekend looks like it's going down the tubes as I type this! Temp has dropped about 12 degrees, very windy, light rain....and well you get the picture!
Glad to hear your having a good time there buddy! Can't wait to see those pictures!

Well here in Winterpeg its not as cold as Jeremy's area but we are in the hangar for the building season! I just got back from LA (for the NHRA Finals) and I was able to get to Sepulveda Basin and see a Rookie fly. Spectacular to say the least! Loops almost in its own length! The weather shock was severe on our return though... Might just have to move out west someday...
