All the metal stuff for the Raptor is useless crap.

While i know and appreciate where you are coming from, not in all cases. The metal head block adds life to the model and better captures the harder damping many modelers prefer . It stands up to crashes very well and is more secure using a clamp up and a bolt. It also has a phasing ring should there ever be a setup need. Another metal part I like is the collective tray however many flyers will not notice the difference while those beating the snot from the helicopter may. The metal washout hub is hard anodized and has little slop and will stay that way for a long time, it also adds accuracy to a sensitive setup.

Sometimes people buy metal mixer arms for the added throw they have, it does something different from the stock part. I do agree that many metal parts simply shine but not all.
