The ORCC Warbird Fun Fly will be held in Ottawa at the ORCC Drummond Field on Sunday July 5th, 2009. Landing fee $5. For another $5 you can have a BBQ lunch. Flying starts at 9AM.

All types of warbirds large or small, fixed wing or heli are welcome. Because this is intended to be a fun event, we will be rather generous with the definition of a warbird. A limited selection of peel-and-stick insignas will be available. This year I was finally able to locate some Canadian flags. Last year I only had Japanese rising suns. (large_smile)

So come and show us your warbirds!

The raffle prize is a 60-sized Corsair by Hangar-9
(from Dynamic Hobbies). It comes with the 90-degree
rotating retracts. Tickets are now on sale.



P.S. If the Corsair looks familiar, it is because last year's winner has generously offered it back to the club for this year's raffle prize. Still new in the box, still with the retracts, untouched by any glue. So if you *really* wanted to win it last year, now you have another chance!
