So Jason (Dashpuppy) is trying to wrap his EDF/electric head around why he should put a turbine into his JL T45 Hawk.

These videos show some details of fuelling, start-up, and run up and were filmed by a "layman" guy who knows nothing about the hobby but makes a living posting videos on utub. Interesting to hear the questions he asks....

First 2 are Bob Brusa from WA state. Bob is a great guy and loves to talk r/c jets with strangers. There's some of the fuelling and start up in these videos. Note that even though Bob talks about propane start with his, most are now Kero start but either way, no drama.

OH YES, Kev-o already told me what one to buy, i need to buy one very soon. I have 2 edf's to maiden and runn soon.

I'm just making some shopping lits for stuff that i need to buy before i can buy a turbine. Looks like im going to grab a Jets-Munt VT80 Turbine from Altecare.

So far i need to buy :

8 servos Found some spektrum hv ones for 34$ each, Kev-o said perfect servos too, nothing super fast or huge tq needed.

1 CB200 ( jeti receiver with dual battery & fail safe 2 satellites & remote switch )
few miles of thin colored air line for brakes landing gear up down and doors.

I have lots to do, been reading about this diesel turbine stuff too

I tried to sell the hawk but every person that messaged me privately low balled me badly and wanted me to ship it free so forget it, i'll just build it.
