I am looking into EDFs and would like to know the best way of entering this field.
Any information would be nice.

Thanks

The Parkzone Habu would be an excellent choice for a first EDF. Very stable, lots of power and slows down nice for landings. It comes BNF(just bind your TX to the Rx) or PNP(add your own Rx and bat). You can be up flying in less then an hour.

I second the habu i fly helis and had very little experiance flying planes pretty much sim time and flew it with ease but just respect it because it is really fast if you do not watch your throttle.cheers

Re: What EDF To Get

The Phase 3 EF-16 is my first edf. Inexpensive, simple, yet flys very well with hand launch. Looks good in the air. Another plus is it only needs 3S 2200mah batteries. The same type used in my 450 size helicopter.
If you don't have a paved runway, plan on an edf handlaunch or bungy launch.
Cheers Eric
