Hi guys

Thanks for all your feedback
It's been exactly 10 working days since the date that the seller claims to have shipped it.
I e-mailed him my work address but instead the seller shipped it to my home address which is what I have set up in Paypal
The seller has zero feedback but has posted 202 times since he joined in January 2006. He lives in Montreal, Quebec. He has provided me his name and MAAC #.

I will take the general recommendations and give the seller 14 working days (four more working days). I believe that is a fair amount of time. If I don't receive the trainer cable by then or receive a refund, I will initiate the complaint with Paypal and probably post his name

Thanks Again

Frank

"The seller has zero feedback but has posted 202 times since he joined in January 2006. He lives in Montreal, Quebec. He has provided me his name and MAAC #."

Its not to hard to find his name "as i did" so once again ,about his feedback ,

Not true ,look at his old f/b ,its all good , Click on his name = Cos ... "as I did" and view his " old feedback view "at the bottom left of his profile . its All good ,your safe .

Just no new feebback since the new system started on F/b recently.

Good as in the bank ! and better then in the mail ! lol

14 days is not fair at all ,20 to 25 day more likely , with our mail service today. and that still give's you time ,if need be .to file a claim at 10 to 14 day's, paypal will tell you to wait ,so not much you can do before that, unless seller cancelled shipping with a tracking # you can show them.

Take care len

Re: Help needed.

I made a trade with a member here on RCC. He sent his stuff CP, I sent mine Fedex. He got his next day.
I sweated for 2 weeks. I the end, CP finally delivered. Like... What took them so long????
At least the person I was dealing with was following up with me the whole time I was waiting for my package. That kinda put me at ease as well. Not sure what your seller has done for you.

Anyway, I would give it a little more time, but be mindful of the PPal greivence time limit.

Re: Help needed.

About two weeks ago I received an Express package with a tracking number and the first thing I saw on the CP web site was a message that I cant remember exactly, but sounded like "because of the large amount of undelivered items caused by the strike, your item was put on hold ... blah blah blah...delayed delivery...blah blah blah..."...

Red face Re: Help needed.

Guess what?

Today I received the buddy cord.
Unbelievable.
The parcel was air mailed on July 18th
Today is the 11th working day.
From Montreal, PQ.

11 days!!

I never would have believed that it would take this long to receive a Canada Post air mail shipment.

In the U.S. they are about to shut down in excess of 3000 Postal Service outlets due to lack of business.
Perhaps the same thing should apply here in Canada.

Thanks for all your feedback

There is one lesson for me to learn from this.

A tracking number is highly recommended.

Re: Help needed.

Good to hear everything turned out for you. Yes a tracking number is a must, only good for both parties. CP is something allright, and weird I bought a engine from a guy in Ontario, I received it in 10 days.

I am gad to hear thing turned out in the end.

2 things if you please:
1) Edit the "Title" of your first post and change it from "Help Needed" to "Help Needed; Problem Solved!" So people opening this thread for the first time will know that you got your problem solved without reading the first few posts and making an unfair pre-judgement.

2) Give the guy a seller-feedback score based on your experience.

Cheers!
Max
