Sorry Gervais. This is the original surpass design. I never ran the surpass 2, but I put many hours on engines of this design. Only real problem I encountered was they tended to break the exhaust header out of the head in a hard crash? I do not know the history of this engine.... It was part of a package deal nearly 2 years ago. It is in very nice shape. I didn't post pictures yet because I noticed It doesnt have the proper nuts for the prop. It has a 2 stroke spinner adaptor on it , so I am going to see if I can find the proper nuts. Some corrosion on the muffler( looks cleaned at one time) and a few marks around the mounting holes from not using washers( pet peeve).-Steve

Hi Steve , your os is the first séries . A good engine , maiby the surpas 2 have a beter lubrification systèm and fuel economic. The exaust fixation in the head is it good??The prop nuts (2) and washer are not important for me . I have many parts spares . I offer $170 include Shipping when you are ready .
