How is it connected at the servo? A loop between washers?

Yes John. I used a bolt with a short shoulder on it so the threads aren't cutting the cable, used some nylon washers on either side of the loop. It is set up so even if it's not powered there can't be enough slack for either end to come off. Wish they would include a cable with a ball on the one end.

There are other ways but this is what I had.

That's a pretty powerful servo for the throttle, must be a lot of tension on that throttle return spring.

They are really nice servos. I got some recently and they seem awesome although I haven't flown with them yet. I'm sure there will be no disappointment. I have also purchased some 175's to try on some surfaces to try to save some $.

Paul, yes they are sweet but, they are hard on the wallet.

Interesting idea. A cable linkage. I understand you static setup.
Any chance you servo is faster than the spring return of the carb? It might cause a problem. I am a throttle pumper. I just wondering what would happen if your pulling the throttle open and reverse it repeatedly. Will the cable slacken and then jerk? Just thinking out load.
