Ken,

You came in 2nd in the North Central Region for Intermediate.. congrats!

Rick Kroeze dominated every round in Bassic and posted a outstanding 4000 score to take First Place

Do I really have to say what spot I finished in.. you should know by now! Although I did make it into the Top 10 at 7th place ... there were only 7 pilots entered in Bassic!

OK here are the rest of the standings

Overall our Canadian contingent did pretty good. Weather could have been nicer and we would have liked to fly more rounds but since there were so many Advanced and Unlimited Pilots and there known routines take a lot longer then your Basic routine we could only complete what we did.

Chris Robert from Chatham in only his 3rd contest place 4th in Basic and had he been flying a much more capable plane I am sure he would have been scratchin at the 2nd place pilots heels with a vengance.

I'm already looking forward to next year.

Oh and by the way they didn't have any trophy for the NC Bassic Champion as they don't do it but every pilot who flew in Basic at a contest had there names place in a hat for a chance at two pilot draws and I am happy to say that Cliff Bailey of the Chatham club won an Aerofly Pro Deluxe Flight Simulator. Way to go Cliff.

Maybe we can get more Canadians to come down to this next year.

Some other stats from the NC Region.... 72 different pilots participated in the Bassic Class in 22 contests this summer across the Region... and we know where about a third of those came from don't we?

Craig,

Not to wory... most of the planes you saw here are from guys flying Advanced and Unlimted. There were about 10 in Advanced, 8 in Sportsman and 6 in Unlimited!

I would say 28% is good from Basic to the end of Sportsman at least!
