New Computer Radio

I am interested in buying a new computer radio. I have 2 airtronics radios already and would prefer to stay with them. I was looking very closely at ther Airtronics new RD 8000 as it is compatible with both helicopters and aircraft, and should fit my needs. I was wondering if anyone knows whether airtronics frequency module is compatible with this system. I am also thinking about the hitec eclipse. Anyone have any thoughts on these or other radios
Thanks

Radio

Even though I am a die hard Hitec fan if you already have Airtronics and are happy with them why would you change. If Airtronics makes the radio you need I would stick with something I am familiar with myself.

Ian,

I have an RD 6000 (along with 3 other airtronics radios) and love it. I would recommend it to anybody who wants an easy to program, high quality system. Unless the 8000 has been updated from the 6000 it will not support the frequency module. I am seriously considering buying an 8000 myself, let us know how you like it if you happen to go that route.
